What To Wear Paddle Boarding in 2019

FINALLY! Paddle Boarding kit that truly works for the job...

Its really been a journey for all involved as watersports, until paddle boarding, was all about been IN the water rather than ON IT! This pretty much meant wetsuits for cold weather  or boardies for warmer weather. The great thing about paddle boarding, is once you have got going on a good quality board you are rarely in the water, unless your SUP surfing of course..so you’re just too hot in a wetsuit.. Its been a long journey of educating brands and customers on ‘what to wear paddle boarding’ and of course getting brands to cut and design a comfort fit rather than a tight wetsuit cut…BUT!!!!  WE HAVE GOT THERE! with some key brands listening to the pleading and begging of paddle board fanatics world wide… Here is what to wear paddle boarding 2019 edition..

There are 2 brands in particularly that have championed this need for SUP wear that feels great, looks great and fits everyone (not just the skinny) Prolimit and Level six..

Prolimit has put oodels of thought in to there SUP wear, technical, well thought out and offering great budget option of SUP wear. Prolimit have added really comfortable high waist bands to there neoprene leggings for comfort and performance, with quick dry matching jackets for a quick fix if its chilly.

Level six has also gone the extra mile and designed their kit to cater to all shapes too but level six have gone all out with every attention to detail with quick dry eco-neoprene thats so comfortable it feels like normal clothes and quick dry waterproof jackets and trousers for the extra adventurous, Level Six may be on higher budget side but it is truly special SUP kit.

We also love Mystic SUP wear... For the men they cater to technical needs and for the women.. its still technical but less so with every detail spent making this kit look absolutely stunning.. Mystic still isn’t cutting clothes for anyone over a size 12 UK, so if you want something thats a bit more pretty rather than technical,  O'Neill have really done well this year making some very affordable and great looking long john's and neoprene jackets, great for the not so warm UK weather, all on a great budget, and made up to a size 16.

If your wanting to SUP surf, a wetsuit or long john is perfect and for those who are wanting the extra confidence of cover just in case they fall in but once you have got past this stage and wanting to go from beach to paddle board with ease.. maybe go for a long distance paddle or sharing the board with friends with a picnic on the beach, neoprene leggings and jackets and quick dry is the perfect paddle boarding wear keeping you nice and warm but not boiling in a wetsuit.

We, at SUP Inflatables, love to give a personal experience when it comes to SUP clothes, we know our brands inside out when it comes to whats best for our customers, If you need some help just get in touch via whats app, text, call or email for help.
